About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and business adviser. The goal is to provide leadership in the development of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
Collaborate with the senior management team to develop strategic and operational plans that support the company’s financial objectives
Direct, oversee and head all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization
Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation, and monthly reporting to the Board of Directors
Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
Responsible for contract management, invoicing, and collections operations
Strong problem solving skills, the ability to exercise sound judgment, and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
Provide leadership to the existing finance team
5+ years of direct tech and/or Healthcare industry experience in a senior finance position, such as CFO at a fast growing SaaS or software company.
Previous experience leading a company through private financing, IPO, and/or mergers and acquisitions
Must possess a qualified accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA or CMA), CFA, MBA, or equivalent
Exceptional knowledge of IFRS
Strong communicator, relationship builder, and business leader
Experience working with senior level leaders, managing teams and large external stakeholders
Able to travel globally throughout the year
